Dunsin Oyekan is a Nigerian gospel minister, songwriter, producer, recording artist, and instrumentalist. The convener of the Code Red Worship Experience is also called – The Eagle.
BACKGROUND
He was born on November 5, 1984, in Ilorin, Nigeria. Dunsin is the only son of the Gbade Oyekan family. He has his Nursery and Primary education at Airforce School, Ilorin. He then proceeded to the Federal Government College Ilorin for his secondary education. He left there to continue his education at the Baptist Model High School, Ilorin.
Dunsin Oyekan had his tertiary education at the University Of Ilorin, Kwara State where he studied Industrial Chemistry.
RELATIONSHIP AND MARITAL STATUS
He was married to Adedoyin Oyekan and was blessed with two amazing children. Dunsin lost his wife in 2019 to an undisclosed incident.
MUSIC MINISTRY
Dunsin’s love for music started when his father who himself love music talked him into learning how to play guitar. He started singing and playing guitar at the age of 10.
He not only plays different instruments like guitar, keyboard, and drums, Dunsin Oyekan is also a music producer. He was once the music director of the award-winning choir – Avalanche of the Common Wealth of Zion Assembly (COZA).
His first album came in 2016 and was titled “Code Red”. It was a 14-track song.
Dunsin Oyekan has had the privileged to minister alongside some iconic music singers like Tasha Cobbs, Kurt Carr, Don Moen, Byron Cage, Tye Tribett, William Murphy, Sinach, Frank Edwards, Freke Umoh, and many more.
He performed alongside Kim Burell at the Experience Concert with the song Na You. Dunsin is the host and founder of the Code Red Worship Experience and the Healing Room Worship Event.
